When treatment with an interventional procedure is needed, we offer nonsurgical approaches, including radiofrequency ablation and uterine fibroid embolization to shrink fibroids, and surgical procedures, such as myomectomy and hysterectomy. Nearly all myomectomies and hysterectomies are performed by doctors who are experts in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, which uses small incisions that result in less pain and quicker recovery time.
